Abydos, struck under Antigonos I Monophthalmos as Strategos of Asia. Circa 310-301 BC. AR drachm, 4.27 gr., 17.6 mm.
Obv.: head of Herakles to the right, wearing lion’s skin headdress.
Rev.: AΛEΞANΔPOY; Zeus seated to the left, holding eagle and sceptre; in left field: head of Ammon to the right, below throne: ivy leaf.
