Description
Uncertain mint, circa 335-315 BC. AR tetradrachm, 12.69 gr., 27 mm.
Obv.: laureate head of Apollo to the right.
Rev. ΠΑΤΡΑΟΥ; Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping to the right and spearing fallen Persian warrior, wearing kybasia and robeslat kausia, holding a round shield and spear; below horse’s tail: thunderbolt, before horse’s head: bunch of grapes.
