As satrap or king. Alexandria, circa 306-300 BC. Struck in the name of Alexander III. AR tetradrachm, 15.65 gr., 28 mm.                                                                  Obv.: diademed head of Alexander III to the right, wearing elephant skin headdress.

Rev.: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ; Athena Promachos advancing to the right, brandishing spear and holding shield; in right field: monogram and eagle.
