Aï Khanoum, circa. 280-271 BC. AR tetradrachm, 15.73 gr., 27 mm.

Obv: diademed head of Antiochos I to the right.

Rev: horned and bridled head of horse to the right with flamelike forelock; in left field: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, below: ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ; in upper right field: Δ-monogram in circle.
