Second reign. Damascus, 128–127 BC. AR tetradrachm, 16.48 gr., 30 mm.
Obv: diademed head of Demetrios II with beard to the right, beaded border.
Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY ΘΕΟΥ NIKATOPOΣ; Zeus Nikephoros seated to the left; in left field: monogram, below throne: monogram, in exergue: EPR (regnal date=SE 185).

Lustrous. Obverse struck slightly off-centre. Extremely Fine.
A beautiful example with a light cabinet tone, underlying lustre and a strong portrait – one of the very finest of the type.
