Lugdunum, November-December 275 AD. Æ antoninian, 4.47 gr., 20 mm.

Obv.: IMP C CI (sic!) TACITUS AUG; radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Tacitus to the right.

Rev.: VIRTUS AUG; Virtus standing facing on groundline, head to the left, his right hand on shield set on the ground and holding spear in his left.

Some original silvering left. Good Extremely Fine.

Very rare with this engraver’s error on the obverse.
