Obv.: D N THEODOSIUS P F AUG; helmeted, diademed and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, holding spear over his right shoulder and with shield, ornamented with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left.
Rev.: SALUS REI PUBLICAE; two emperors: Theodosius II, the larger one, on the left seated on throne and the smaller on the right, Valentinian III, standing, both wearing consular robes and holding a mappa in their right hands and a cross in their left; above: star, in exergue: CONOB.
