Description

Circa 490-475 BC. AR hemidrachm, 1.74 gr., 11.5 mm.

Obv: bearded head of Herakles facing to the right, wearing lion-skin headdress.

 Rev: rooster standing to the right, worm in beak, in dotted square frame; all within incuse square.

 Very well centered. Slightly porous metal. Choice very fine.
