Circa 425-415 BC. AR nomos, 8.33 gr., 21 mm.
Obv.: oikist (Taras?) to the left, wearing himation around his waist, seated on diphros, bird perched on his outstretched right hand and spindle in his left, hanging off back of diphros.
Rev.: Phalanthos, nude, with outstretched right arm and holding a Boiotian shield on his left, riding a dolphin swimming to the left; below dolphin: mussel shell.
